We’re loving extra thick rolled oats because they produce an oatmeal with a “heartier and chewier” texture than regular oats. These BRM oats are milled from quality organic oats and make for a wholesome morning meal because they’re low in saturated fat and contain lots of dietary fiber.   1. Bring water and salt to a boil. Add thick rolled oats, reduce heat to medium-low to simmer, and cook 10-20 minutes (depending on the consistency you desire). Stir occasionally. Cover and remove from heat and let stand a few minutes.
